Not sure if you all saw it but i was watching Monster Mysteries on the discovery channel and they showed a segment where Sasquach has been proven to exist and he is genetically a human. Some hunters shot two of them in washington state killing one from which they were able to get some dna samples, tested them, and it turned out to be human. They said that 15000 years ago an unknown primate male mated with a common female to produce the species. I thought it was worthy of a post. I wonder how he hunts and what level of intelligence they have. I wonder if they speak some form of a human language. Anyways this happened last november 2012 so farely recent. I believe it was Life Science that did an artical on it but i cant find anything on the internet abt it.

I then hauled it out of there and told nobody what I saw. Back then it wasnt populated like now. You could actually stand on Hwy 50 and look both ways and see no cars coming. If you tried that today you wouldnt make it across the road.

Wow thanks for sharing your experience. My brother was doing some research and apparently found info on many sasquaches bodies being found around mt st helenes in washington after it erupted. Maybe thats why they have a law there cause they know they exist.

Not according to legend, but according to uninformed folks that like to promote myths. I've been into the ape caves myself, and the signage at the entrance plainly says (per the park service): "The primates that gave their name to two lava tubes found along this trail weren't monkeys - they were members of a 1950s outdoor club who found and explored the tubes. They called themselves the Mount St. Helens Apes, and the lava tubes became known as their caves." Signs were there on my visits both before and after St Helens blew.

Personally, the anecdotal and witness reports going back centuries long ago led me to believe there is a primate in existence the natives in the Pacific Northwest called Sasquatch. However, the report self-published by the woman claiming DNA evidence should probably be taken with a grain of salt.
 

Just saying... bears do exactly what you just described rock. They feel vonerable when drinking or eating because they have to take their eyes off of their surroundings..they will stand on two legs to get a good look around before putting their head down to drink.
It's in human nature to project ourselves into some sort of WILDMAN .. it has happened through all time and around the globe.
There is no "Boogie Man"
At best.. in some places there might be a type of undocumented gorilla.

Holy cow i swear i just saw sasquach this morning in the mirror. Guess its time for a haircut and a shave. Ill have to admit this thread has become pretty interesting. Any other artifact hunters man enough to admit thier sasquach sightings?
 

There is so many people "Squatching" in the Northwest they are likely calling back and forth to eachother by now.
 

Well yes it looked like a bear from the distance but as I got closer I could clearly see it wasnt a bear. But like I said believe me or not I dont care. Back then if you admitted to seeing something like that you were crazy. But then again some think I am still crazy today, lol.
 



This guy is a little long winded, but very intelligent, and I believe the true "Bigfoot" story.
 

They should also make it against the law to shoot martians, as just as many martians have been killed as bigfoot. Actually, if you believe Area 51 stories, maybe more martians have died... And more bigfoot hoaxers have been confirmed dead than bigfoot itself - here's a great 2012 example of a hoaxer getting run over by not just one car driven by a teenage female, but by two! Bigfoot Sighting Hoax Kills Man Run Over While Wearing Costume : People.com BTW, I live on an island that is a "hotspot" that has had multiple sightings/reports and the Discovery Channel was rumored to be coming here for a photo shoot.
