This is Crusader team totals, this is the first year we have kept count;

1 Celtic Silver Unit (27th ever recorded)
7 Roman silver denarius
38 Medieval hammered including some foriegn types
68 Misc Post medieval - 1947

Might not seem alot but its been an excellent year so far, still adding to the totals. I have 3 weeks off for X-Mas

I hit 85, but you know that. You killed me on the halves, the walking liberty lust is what kept me goin for the last few weeks of diggin, but it wasn't meant to be..... Oh, well, she goes back on the list for next year !!

Only 12 silver coins out of almost 12,000 coins for year...over $750 in clad..over 100 wheaties and some nice jewelry and rings helped though....along with an additional $300 worth of free accessories I received for 2 stories to White's...dfx paid for itself...within a year...now paying for my next detector... Surprised we do not have more people asking about gold...seems that is mainly an area for the water guys...but I bet most would prefer gold over silver... I would anyways... but would like to increase my silver finds next year...but a few pieces of gold equals more than a few silver coins unless a key date...

Good point I have read about quite a few finding 700-1000 silver coins in a year...and was sent a very nice picture of a treasure containing a large silver cache.
