Do You Make Art? Share Here

I took my old color slide enlargement prints (mostly Kodachrome) to make full image sensor DSLR copies. Same with a few paintings I did in the 1990s. Last December (1 year ago) decided on signing up for product art design. Took months to figure out how everything works, set up studio online, prepare and upload huge files (found Google Chrome browser better uploading). Started adding a lot of new photos also.

Gave myself a break about 2 months, ready to start back up again soon. Was working on cell phone cases, pocket watches, wooded birch prints, etc. some fashion. (shoulder strap tote bag, yoga pants). The spicebush swallowtail butterfly on thistle, is a matte finish Kodachrome enlargement print. Eco-friendly message on back side. Company is Canadian but has a main office in Nevada. Like all other designer stuff, too high priced.

Here are pics of one design yoga pants (environmental theme) derived design from a yellow lily DSLR photo I took here last summer. Tank top is what they call Racerback.

Corrected my first post, it actually was last of November signed up but through December figuring out how to use online art design studio. Images don't upload at times, during holiday season, site traffic overload the reason.

Lots of very talented people, I'm surprised and impressed at the variety!

Here are a couple pieces I did back in college in the early '80s, and a couple from the early '90s. I majored in art all throughout school then continued through my professional career.

After school I went into advertising where I spent my career designing ads and print material. I also did illustration during those years. Retired 18 years ago when I was 44 and, even though I loved my career, retiring early was the best thing I ever did.

My art studio isn't used much for art these past couple decades although I've considered painting again, but retirement is just so time consuming.

Portrait work probably always something you can do. These days, seems like everybody is doing artwork and with inflation hard to know the market.

I tried putting a portrait on watches/pocket watch. Maybe a little later show you the results.
