DHS Preparing For A Total Police State Takeover

I am wrong in thinking when the constitution was written We had a bunch of smart guys sitting around for gee I don't know how long. Going over and over the way it was written. Now I'm sure most knew law and I'm sure they wrote it so never to be interpreted. But take it like it was written. Was there two sides back then? When did the thought interpretation come into it? I see there are those people you use this excuse to change it for their individual groups benefit.

I think when things like this change there is some person walking around some country club bragging "See what I did" with one hand on a 32oz er

It has been interpreted since day one. It was written to be interpreted over time. This is what we call constitutional law. Search for the Monroe / Madison debates, the federalist papers etc.

lol..
I'm glad you quoted that lame attempt of his so I could see it....

Nice try Drano. Troll harder.

the Sturmgewehr 44 (as you think it was called) was renamed the "MP44" from the initial suggested 'Stg44' to further development after Hitler (an "Old School" ww1 vet) didn't like the concept of an intermediate rifle cartridge, but was ok with a "Machine Pistol" So in order to continue the project, the backers continued it and called it the "MP44" a misnomer that actually refers to a rifle not a submachine gun as the name you latched onto without verifiying the history behind the story suggests.
Anyone who actually fired military weapons for a living or went thorough and in depth familiarization firing with them would know that as opposed to a keyboard commando who regurgitated internet stuff.
Learn to google at least. Even THAT would have saved your desperate attempt.
Are you so weak to jab back at being made to look the fool that you resort to quacking out stuff you haven't even bothered to verify? lol.. :D

Weeeeeak.

I believe you have it backwards.

It was originally named MP44, then changed to StG44.
StG 44 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hitler allowed the MP 43 program to continue and in order to make mass production possible. The first MP 43s were distributed to the Waffen-SS, and then in October 1943, some were especially issued to the 93rd Infantry Division on the Eastern Front. Production and distribution continued to different troops until April 1944, where Hitler ordered it re-designated MP 44 with adding minor updates after taking some interest in the weapon tests. In July 1944, at a meeting of the various army heads about the Eastern Front, when Hitler asked what they needed, a general exclaimed, "More of these new rifles!". This caused some confusion (Hitler's response is reputed to have been "What new rifle?"), but once Hitler was given a chance to see and test-fire the MP 44, he was impressed and gave it the title Sturmgewehr. Seeing the possibility of a propaganda gain, the rifle was again renamed as the StG 44, to highlight the new class of weapon it represented, translated "Storm (Assault) rifle, model 1944", thereby introducing the term.[SUP][15]

[/SUP]The present weapon incorporates a number of progressive changes made with the intention of giving the German infantry a suitable small arm for ranges beyond those of close-quarter fighting. First termed Maschinen Pistole (M. P. 43), it was successively designated M. P. 43/1, M. P. 44, and finally Sturmgewehr 44. Tactical and Technical Trends, No. 57, April 1945.

Glad to hear you have changed you mind. What day was that? I want to mark it on my calender as St. Crispins day.:hello2:

Not quite sure. It kind of happened over time. I listen to people's views, process them, come back with counterpoints, rinse and repeat. Overtime, people can change their views. I think the major factor is that I think Congress is imcompetent and I have little faith that any of the new proposals are research based or will make a statistically significant difference. Therefore, we must abide by the Null hypothesis: further restrictions on gun control will not be helpful. Once I reached that conclusion it was a no brainer in regards to the BoR that no limits on freedoms should be placed. I reserve the right to change my mind in the future; however, that is how I feel about it now.

Back to the original thread:

The House is solid Republican.

If they share your views, they can just refuse to appropriate the funds for these purchases.

They certainly can get their phone calls answered, and probably are.

If I had to guess, I'd say they aren't sharing the honest substance of those conversations with you though. :hello:
