Deep Targets

What is the deepest target you have dug, I noticed with my MXT the deeper the target the less accurate the reading is on what the object is. Do you get deep targets very often, the deepest i ever seem to dig is 5" for a coin and I feel like I am missing coins that could be deeper. I am using the stock coil do the DD coils help w/ this?

I dug a target to 18". It identified as a silver dollar, the first time my Whites IDX Pro ever gave this indication. I was very happy and just kept digging. It was an old bottle cap about 2 " in diameter. I was disappointed but impressed with the depth. The dirt was bone dry. Not the best conditions.
