....and found this small 14K bracelet. Was not getting as many signals and hits in the park as I expected. Just some shallow clad here and there. Kind of surprising, since the park looked like it was usually pretty busy. Under a tree there was evidence of where people had gathered, discarding their twistoffs, pull tabs, and bottle caps. Searched there, and found this bracelet where it had been trampled into the ground. It was a couple of inches down in the roots of the grass. Straightened it out a little bit. The signal on the Garrett 1500GTI sounded and indicated like a nickel & pull tab, but went ahead and dug, even though I had been digging pull tabs all over the area.

Congrats on the find! I find myself digging alot of those "iffy" signals too. Sometimes it's worth it, most times it isn't.

Nice dig Gert. Gold is always nice. Say hello to Joe, Brandy, and Kickin Wing for me. Is it snowin yet in Silvertown?

Thanks all! Will keep checking those tabs and iffy hits. Did detecting back in the 80's with a Garrett Groundhog, getting back into it with some updated equipment. Getting cool in the evenings, Evol. Keeping warm with hot soldering iron close by. ;)

The pulltabs I dig, never look like that!!!!!!! ;D ;D Nice gold find!
