Today was a lot slower than yesterday, the sand was frozen solid so If we got a good signal, we had to chop and hack at the sand. What would have been a 30 second recovery in the fall took 20 minutes today. Any way, my buddy pulled up another 10k ring (signet) and 3 or 4 more silver rings including one that must be a silver napkin ring due it’s size, plus 2 mercs and a war nickel. I’ll post pictures when I get them from him.

I got another copper catholic pendant and one tiny silver one, a really nice silver signet ring with eagles, a 1946 Washington quarter, wheaties and a buffalo. I think we’re going back tomorrow but we’re gonna go down the shore a bit and Saturday we’re hunting a 1810 mansion if the ground ain’t froze up.

If the pond was full, at what depth do you think you are finding everything?

Dang!!! Good job

2 or 3 feet I guess. I think this level is the natural state due to the sandy beach. The beach is 100% submerge 10 months of the year.

Awesome stuff! Loving all those goodies coming from that pond... I’m sure you were a little more... selective with your targets with the sand being frozen. Frustrating for sure but it makes it that much sweeter when you pop a nice target. I’m keeping tuned in! Ddf.

You dun good JD! Can we get some more pics of that ring? Looks killer. I also love the toning on the buff.

Here you go Wash

You are killing it, congrats! :occasion14:

Nice dig. I really need to find a spot like that. Congrats!

More pirate treasure!

That's a great spot!

I've found that same exact silver signet ring style. Someone tried scratching a script F into it, but it is still cool. Nice finds! I love how preserved that buff stayed!

Thanks!! The buffalo came out of 8” of black muck, I thought it was gold for a second.
I was looking on line to try and ID the ring, I’m seeing them sold as antique WWII patriotic men’s rings but who knows, it’s very cool and I’m going to wear it I think

I would say that is about right on age. I found mine at the gate of a rodeo arena that existed from the teens to the 60s. Mine was more worn, though, but that's probably meaningless. Here. I dug up an old pic of mine.

Sorry... I know it's not a great pic. My other shots of it somehow got corrupted.

Here’s the gold my buddy found there, I only got one ):
