CRISPINS CRITTERS

Well...We don't have any gold here in Oregon....so....

So I take it dredging is a sore subject in Oregon?
(Yeah I know, my sarcasm filter is turned off)

2GF,

Just a matter of choosing the right words....I've managed it quite a few times over the years during my working career...lol.

Regards + HH

Bill

Brother Bill I was still thinking about my earlier post. Here's a follow up. They say a good Senior NCO can tell an officer to go to hell in such a way, he looks forward to the trip! :)

Not my pics though. But...They are all "caught" on the Rogue river. I can hit the Rouge by driving 199, that has the wicked beautiful Smith river (CA)...along the way. Or drive 25 miles up the coast to Gold Beach and drive inland to Grants Pass also. (gotta lock the hubs in winter) Almost entirely along the Rogue.

Anytime you gotta lock the hubs it makes a fun trip! I LOVE the Rouge river and Grants Pass! I did my sophomore year at Grants Pass high school. I hate how liberal Oregon has become, but love the state. Same way I feel about California.

Yeh the small towns are still great places to live with great people. Grants Pass included. What year did you graduate? I had a girlfriend in GP....Rode my bike(s) from here to there...a LOT!

I graduated in Maine in 1997. I enjoyed my year at Grants Pass a lot. I attended the very last year they had auto shop at the high school. Do you remember the idiot who jumped off the bridge and destroyed his knee during the ski competition on the river? Must have been 1994? I watched him do it.

OMG!! My daughter was born in '95...Mothers day to be exact...
Nope I was the class of '83....so I was tearin' up 199 (and Josephine county..) around '85-'86.
My brother-in-law has raised three kids in GP, he still lives there, and I spend a lot of time over there. Medford has 75,000 + Add in Central Point, Eagle point, Phoenix, White city...over 100,000 ! You can not shop in 6,000 pop Brookings Oregon.:laughing7::BangHead::laughing7: GP has over 30,000 now...

I was surprised to discover they removed the dam from the rouge across from Savage Creek road(I used to live up that road) that was a cool little park at one time.

Yep I watched some of that removal. Savage rapids dam. It did not have fish ladders that were up to standards....

Yeah I know. Seems the ladders could have been upgraded? There's remnants of a ghost town up savage creek rd. Right before the pavement ends. It's on private land though. I can remember right where the old dance hall ruins were.

They could have. Bad dam design would be the next issue. I can not find/and/or/remember anything about a ghost time there...Of course I been coastal since 1965. I'am trying/wanting to move to Grants Pass....but outskirts...Murphy, Williams, Applegate...etc.

How are real estate prices there these days?

There appears to be no problem with the safe being mine now.....

Learnin' new things to go along with what I already know....

Oh, and baseball card and comic book girl is also left-handed....

I don't think there is much else in common. I told her that I'd email her if I want to purchase some of the cards she had with her on Monday.

I'm talking 70's rookie cards here, Folks!

Hope all are well!

Best,

Scott
