CRISPINS CRITTERS

I'm gonna go off topic, which I never do....
You said good brass is hard to find...sitting in front of me I have guitar picks made out of cymbals!!
I don't think they are made anymore... The top pick is very old, it is tortoise shell...not faux but the real deal.
The grooves in it are from my high school days sliding it down the strings!

Hey...Why did someone not mention...no pic!!:BangHead: As always click the pic three times for supersize...

As I have said, enjoy Treasurenet.

I found Treasurenet nearly 10 years ago seeking info about a coin that I still have.
(Pics later)

The replies to my queries were commendable!

Soon thereafter, I became a Charter Member!

There's been a change of ownership and a new format, but, I've been here since.

Sure, I've been banned.
Testing my limitations and then making Friends....

Anybody else?

I've posted in many different threads including Coins, Stamps, What Is It and probably a score of other threads.

Treasurenet is about, TREASURE!

I have found Treasure, in the Friends that I have made here! :notworthy:

Our little corner,
"Crispin's Critters," well,
That's icing on the cake!

My Best to All,

Scott

My First post on Treasurenet:

http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/what/31039-found-kansas.html

What was your first post?

Sometimes I modify my posts days later. Sometimes months...Or perhaps minutes....

After all, what is time among Friends?

A modification that you may have missed....

And now , For Scott who should be working...A name that tune.

"Why was I born today
Life is useless like Ecclesiastes say
I never had a chance
But opportunity's now in my hands"

Yeah, I had to....

You made me do it..... :tongue3:

Best,

Scott

Yeah, Well, Mr. Smarty Pants,

How many picks you got made from fake plastic cards from offers to join AARP? Huh?
Yeah. I thought so....:laughing7:

Nice selection!
I prefer for acoustic play, medium and for electric, medium-thin.
Ernie Ball strings and picks!

Best,

Scott

"Crazy Train"

(All aboard! Hahaha)

Crazy, but that's how it goes
Millions of people living as foes
Maybe. it's not too late
To learn how to love, and forget how to hate

Mental wounds not healing
Life's a bitter shame
I'm goin' off the rails on a crazy train
I'm goin' off the rails on a crazy train

I've listened to preachers,
I've listened to fools
I've watched all the dropouts
Who make their own rules
One person conditioned to rule and control
The media sells it and you live the role

Mental wounds still screaming
Driving me insane
I'm goin' off the rails on a crazy train
I'm goin' off the rails on a crazy train

I know that things are going wrong for me
You gotta listen to my words, yeah, yeah

Heirs of a cold war,
that's what we've become
Inheriting troubles,
I'm mentally numb
Crazy, I just cannot bear
I'm living with something that just isn't fair

Mental wounds not healing
Who and what's to blame
I'm goin' off the rails on a crazy train
I'm goin' off the rails on a crazy train

And I can't get it out of my head....

Scott

Yeah, I'm a "Full Album" kinda guy....

muppets2.jpg
"What the hell is an album?"
"I think what Scott used for home plate in neighborhood baseball games as a kid!"

Best,

Scott

PS.
Sometimes my posts might seem repetitious,
But, be assured, it's for a reason.

"Can't Get It Out Of My Head"

Midnight on the water.
I saw the ocean's daughter.
Walking on a wave she came,
staring as she called my name.

And I can't get it out of my head,
no, I can't get it out of my head.
Now my old world is gone for dead
'cos I can't get it out of my head.

Breakdown on the shoreline,
can't move, it's an ebbtide.
Morning don't get here tonight,
searching for her silver light.

And I can't get it out of my head,
no, I can't get it out of my head.
Now my old world is gone for dead
'cos I can't get it out of my head, no no.

Bank job, in the city.
Robin Hood and William Tell and Ivanhoe and Lancelot, they don't envy me.
Sitting till the sun goes down,
in dreams the world keep going round and round.

And I can't get it out of my head,
no, I can't get it out of my head.
Now my old world is gone for dead
'cos I can't get it out of my head, no no.

No, I can't get it out of my head,
no, I can't get it out of my head.
Now my old world is gone for dead
'cos I can't get it out of my head, no no no no.

Sent from a spun out toilet paper tube (one ply)!

Joke of the day- has your son decided what he wants to be when he grows up? " yeah he wants to be a garbage man ." " not setting himself up for very high aspirations do you think you can change his mind?" "Not really, he thinks they only work on Tuesdays"
