CRISPINS CRITTERS

Hey Scott and TGF.
If you go to the top of the page, under charter member...click on "online games". Chess!!
Play chess right here on T-net. It looks like you both must log in to the game. I tried to play with myself...it didn't work. It is basically computer chess (chessmaster) but right here!

I went to the Golden Corral last night for their Dinner Buffet provided in gratitude for Veterans.
My 6th year at the Buford, Georgia location.
After I got my tray, silverware, glass of ice water and coffee cup, I walked to the table that was set up by the DAV.

I slipped a $20 into their collection bucket.

When the server came to fill my coffee cup after I found an empty table, I told her that I'd gladly share my table with others. I then went to start my "plate-fillin'."

As I was at the salad bar, building a personalized appetizer of rabbit food, the server found me and said that she had seated a couple also at my table.
(The table was a "6-top," if you speak that language....)
I said, "Thank You!"

I went back to my table and began eating after giving my Blessing. The other couple were obviously filling their plates. Soon they returned and it was an older man and his wife.
Pleasantries were exchanged and when they bowed their head to give their Blessing, I stopped eating and bowed my head also. You can NEVER give too many Blessings!

We all soon were conversing as if we were old Friends. He had served a few tours in 'Nam and he and his wife had recently retired from New York to Beautiful Georgia. They both had retired from Corning industries after 30 some years. His name was Dan, but I missed his wife's name....

2-3 times while we were eating, an Air Force JROTC Color Guard group presented colors to the playing of the
Star Spangled Banner.
Each time, I rose, placed my hand over my heart and stood at attention.
Dan and many others did so, also.
A veteran will always do that.
If you are eating, working or even dying, you will show your respect.

Dan and I shared stories of humor, getting out of crappy details like KP and such, and Friends that we served with now passed. We all were about finished at the same time and I reached into my wallet for a tip for the server and between us, the server made $10.

I said to Dan, "I'll see you two kids next year, right?"

He said, "Absolutely!"

Hope all are well.

Best Wishes,

Scott

Dram,

Any word on those keys for the Susies?

Get a code?

Best,

Scott

Here is the key from new quad, no code on key or switch, maybe if I pull the switch out there is one hiding?

Sent from a spun out toilet paper tube (one ply)!

Looks like a blank for a Yamaha.

Possibly an Ilco #YH28.

It would help to see the other side.
(I can almost "read" the cuts visually....8-))

Very nice clear photos! :notworthy:

Best,

Scott

PS. Does the green quad key go in the new Suzuki?
Does the new 4 wheeler key go into the green quad?

Let me check on if there is a "hidden" code on the ignition. What Year is it?
CC? Model name or number?

All this helps me to help you, Brother!

I've got a fishing buddy that's been in the business for years. Last Fri. I heard him turn down 250.00 to get the keys out of this guys Caddy. It was sitting in the driveway of the lady caller and they were pressed for time. Guess hubby doesn't like parking in the street. Bob must be doing better than he lets on passing deals like that to go drown a minnow.

''I'm on the pavement thinkin bout the gov't...look out kid it's something you did''

Pesci Raps....'it's the *****es that get ya'

Ah!
The rub, my Friend.

What year Caddy and were the keys in the trunk?

Different scenarios require different fees.

I've turned down calls after hours or after having just one beer myself.

I'd hate to imagine being out playing with fish and get a call!

"Yeah, I'll do it, but it's gonna cost ya!"

Best,

Scott

I'd like to ask my Friends here on Tnet a question....

Since I may have to move in a year or so....
(my Landlord made an offer on some property recently)

How is the weather your way?

My 3 main goals are:
#1) A Job. Locksmithing, remodeling, construction, Management, Supervisory roles, just ask. I've probably got experience. Help Wanted?

#2) A furtherance of my Academic pursuits in Psychology. What Universities are in your area?

#3) The closest VA Center. Where my continued Education will lead me to help my Fellow Vets!

I appreciate Y'all's input. :notworthy:

When I came to Georgia from Oklahoma 10 years ago,
To a place I'd never really been,
I had no job awaiting me.
No place to live.
No Family.
No Friends.
And barely enough money for gas to get here.
-------------

(I actually flipped a coin in Atlanta. Heads, to a place I had once lived at before and knew people and my way around, Augusta, where an ex-wife was VERY near.
Or tails, a town close to the mountains, up north...

I flipped the coin, hoping......Tails! Gainesville, Here I come!)
--------------

Almost everything I owned was in the back of my pickup truck....
(mostly tools.... Gotta work if ya wanna eat, Dig?.....)

I told myself I'd never do this foolishness again....

Yeah. About that.....

I feel comfortable relocating anywhere worldwide....
{Huh? An Academic Study Abroad Program? Where? For Honors Students?
Yes, I'm an Honors Student! Pray tell of Scholarship opportunities....}

Done it many times in the US and....Once more? :dontknow:
(Provided certain agreements are reached.)

My Best Wishes,

Scott

Scott, I haven't had time to call a dealer to get code. The keys go into each other quad but don't turn in the switch. The blue quad is a 1991 and the green quad a 1997. Both King quads by Suzuki

Just heard this today for the first time and I REALLY like it!
Hope that you do, too.

I see similarities in the lyrics that correspond to Folks with Alzheimer Disease....

I was once the Department Head of Maintenance at a long-term care facility.
The facility had an Alzheimer's Section.

I made many Friends and on Saturdays would take one of my "wind-up" 78 rpm players in with a stack of Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, etc.

The spark, the light that I would see in their eyes as they listened to music that they were familiar with....

Well, let's just say that if I still had a player,
(3 sold-1 in a museum)
I'd be doin' it this weekend!

Hope all are well.
Thought fondly of.
Are cared about.
And,

Loved!

"Remind Me Who I Am"

When I lose my way,
And I forget my name,
Remind me who I am.
In the mirror all I see,
Is who I don't wanna be,
Remind me who I am.
In the loneliest places,
When I can't remember what grace is.

Tell me once again who I am to You,
Who I am to You.
Tell me lest I forget who I am to You,
That I belong to You.
To You.

When my heart is like a stone,
And I'm running far from home,
Remind me who I am.
When I can't receive Your love,
Afraid I'll never be enough,
Remind me who I am.
If I'm Your beloved,
Can You help me believe it.

Tell me once again who I am to You,
Who I am to You, whoa.
Tell me lest I forget who I am to You.
That I belong to You.
To You.

I'm the one you love,
I'm the one you love,
That will be enough,
I'm the one you love.

Tell me once again who I am to You.
Who I am to You.
Tell me lest I forget who I am to You,
That I belong to You, oh.

Tell me once again who I am to You.
Who I am to You.
Tell me lest I forget who I am to You,
That I belong to You.
To You.

Hope all are well.

Best,

Scott

Example of opening move by white:
H2-H4.

Shall we play?

PS..

Is that a Galaxie 500, red, in that video?

Yeah....
Looks like one....

What year?

'69? '70?
Bet it came stock with a 289.

(MAYBE a 302.....)

I once had a '67....

It took me awhile, but I found this song. Again.
On page(Room 222), Post #17722.

Yeah, I'm THAT Old~!
Your Welcome!

Best, Always,

Scott

If I was to hold a sign, what would it say?

What would your sign say?

How can we eliminate the "Signs"

Then they are both definitely a Yamaha blank. Perhaps the difference in those I'm thinking of is the difference in shoulder length? :icon_scratch:

Gimme a hot minute and I'll get back to you, K? 8-)
(You DO realize how awkward and difficult this may appear....

Making a key for someone based upon code, or in this case, by description...Right?)

For the first time!

For me?
A Welcome challenge! OLE!

Best,

Scott

My Friends,
Do you yet not see the breadth of my humor?

My Caring?
My Compassion?

"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."
John 15:13

It's in my book!

Best,

Scott
