Folks,

A tune to mellow you out on a Sunday evening before the new week starts.

Playing for change - One love.

I'll have to e-mail our friend Crispin.... Sad day.... I'm back from the bush and have a nice old Copper bead to show for my efforts this weekend. My first Copper Culture decorative artifact find. I hope everyone is well and can't wait to get a new camera to show everyone my recent finds. I'm on a roll folks and don't plan on looking back any time soon. 12 hours of detecting with only one signal..... priceless. :occasion14:

Chris,

Glad you had some fun....hey one find going back 10,000 years or so is worth way more than my annual clad count and heck I'd throw in the jewelry items as well....lol.

I exchanged some emails with Crispin yesterday and he's just recharging the batteries.....I'm sure he'd love to here from you....send him a recipe, jokes whatever to boost his spirits.

Regards + HH

Bill

I'll have to send him some hot sauce or something along that line.... I figure the Copper bead may be only 500 - 2000 years old, Woodland era/Laurel Culture, who knows. :dontknow: Blood, sweat and Copper. :headbang:

I had a decent conversation with a juvenile/adult Moose as well. Got a giant bruise on one of my haunches from leaping into my boat from being too cocky.... LOL, we may have to have another talk come this Fall. Never wearing headphones while out in the bush again.... Even one ear out won't give you the hearing that one would need, came very close to a bad day and didn't have my gun with me. Horny young Moose and one sorry Indian, would have been a crappy headline in the local Paper eh?

Backbacon, glad to see you back. congrats. on the find. I'll fire up the smoker, young moose is the best .......we are now over run with them at our camp in northern Vt., and actually see more as they have altered the deer habits.

Just got back from one of my neighbors here on the Lake, he built a wood-fired pizza oven, and hqnd us all down for a make your own pizza dinner. Large table set uo with every topping you could think of,make your own, and watch it cok. I think we made 25 pizza's! He made his own dough from grain and flour that is grown by a friend we went to high school with and just new on the organic market. It was a real good evening. Now it's time to face reality, and get ready for another work week, and rain is in the forecast.

Best meat i ever ate was moose, shot and quarterd with a chainsaw,NICE meat.

I have to agree, only have had the opportunity once with NH. permit, but bagged a 600 lb. cow, and had some of the best eating for a year. Deer last only a short time in my house, but I wish I could afford a annual trip for moose!

heya jammie bud, all I can find in South Carolina (USA) so far is 10,000 year old sand

jeff,

You have to stay focused and concentrate on what's under the coil.....not the scenery on the beach if you get my drift....lol.
