Hahaha, Patsy Cline! She was on heck of a woman! I remeber her telling a story, she went to record or do a show, when she got there, they told her what they wanted her to do. She corrected them and told them, to tell her what they wanted done, and SHE would tell THEM how she would do it!
My mom named me Patsy, I tell everyone, cause she knew I was CRAZY!

This next lady has written more songs, had more hit singles, than any other female artists I know of. Do correct me if I am wrong.

Why thank you pwp, wasn't fishing, but thank you just the same. Unfulfilled desire is suffering, imho.
On a serious note, my mother, who 30 yrs ago died of polycythemia, (she was the 27th or 28th documented case in the world), had the same fear. It was not death she feared, (she KNEW in whom and what she had believed), but the "sting of death, she worried about. It took doctors over 2 weeks just to figure out what she had.
They reminded her, "That is what drugs are for, to take away that sting".

Doctors allowed my 96 yr old grandmother, upon heat induced heart failure, her own choice. They would either crack her chest open and give her a new heart(repair), or they would give her help to leave, and go on back home. At 96, she told them, she had lived a good life and a life well lived, but she was tired. She wanted to go home. Bless those doctors.

I think we all fear the sting, and I often reflect on the Haitian earthquake, and those ppl that lay trapped. There does come a point, if you allow your mind to do what it is designed to do, that even in the face of death, can come resolve and absolution, for the road yet to be traveled.
