Haven't given out any food recipes for a while, and thought tonight was prime time. The Lake has warmed to 75, and the level has started to fall,finally got the boat ramp in and will launch the boat in the morning. Today was a beautiful summer day, with pleasant Temps. and low humidity, and this was my choice for tonights dinner......

I saw this recipe on TV years ago, and have had it several time:

Large loaf of good Italian bread
1 lb. med to lg. cooked shrimp
1-2 cucumbers
1 tomato
lettuce leaves
1 avocado
1 pkg cream cheese
ranch dressing

Mix the cream cheese and ranch dressing into a spread, and apply to both sides of the halved bread,
add, tomato, lettuce and sliced cucumber,
add the shrimp, piled hih,
add sliced avocado....add top and cut in half.....Feeds 2 hungry people

Serve with you favorite cold beer, I like Land Shark, and my wife is partial to a blueberry flavored beer from the state of Maine.
