Whenever I would have a particularly bad day and come home, I would fire up the stereo and play this song.

Due to my current living situation, I live in a small basement apartment in my landlord's home,
I feel that I cannot have a pet.

However, my landlord has gone racing this weekend and I am to look after his two cats.

Although I'm not able to have pets, I try to help show my love for animals by having twice
incorporated the local Animal shelter in my College class projects.

Everyone can show their love for animals by volunteering and/or donating.

Here's a list of typical things that YOU can donate:

Wish List | Humane Society of Northeast Georgia

I hope that all who share a love for animals will follow through and give a little.

It means so much for the animals who have so little.

Forget about the big "National" ads that you see on TV.
Be a part of your LOCAL shelter!

My Landlord's two cat's names?

Alice and Olive.

I guess that you could say that I've been involved with the local shelter
THREE times because I led my Landlord to the shelter to get Alice.

We went one Saturday afternoon and making a hard decision, of many available, we (he) chose Alice to adopt!

Alice is a little lover girl!
Olive, not so much....

I think that someone talked my Landlord into taking Olive.

I think she may have been neglected or abused.
I'm still trying to bond with the little hiding girl.....

My Landlord and I both have a love for animals, which is one of the reasons that we get along so well.

Animal lovers are a group that are kindred in spirit....
