They are local to my area.

Welcome to Our Neighbor Inc.

I had never heard of them, but will contact them in the next few days
to see if I may possibly "fit in" towards their goals.

I dropped by this afternoon to see if I might speak to someone about volunteering.
No one was available today, but I left my name and number.

They also have a bookstore that accepts donations.

Seems that I could gather up a couple of boxes of books to donate this weekend,
after I finish my yardwork.
Maybe before my yardwork!

Being an "early riser," I'm sure that I'll be able to do both.

This organization works with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Having done remodeling, construction, etc. including electrical, plumbing, framing, drywall, etc.,
I'm familiar with ADA requirements.
I also know many of the building codes associated with each craft.

I hope to be able to help in any way possible.
