I woke up this morning at 6 am....
After an hour or two of sleep....
I had planned and talked with my Landlord the night before to borrow his truck.
Have I mentioned that he is "THE. BEST. LANDLORD. EVER?"
Anywho, I went and bought a new tool box, from Home Depot, for work and picked it up and took it in about 8 am.
I got the new box strapped in the bed and am carefully making my way to my destination.
I'm thinking, "Keep it conservative, Scott. It ain't a race. You'll get there soon enough"
And halfway to work, I think, Hmmm. I'll bet there's a pistol in the console."
I check, and, yep.
The .45 wheel. Loaded.
Ahem.
Another reason to drive carefully....
The guys at the shop helped me unload my new box and I went back home to drop off my Landlord's truck.
I then caught one more hour of a "cat-nap" sleep before I made a fresh pot of coffee and returned for my 8 hour shift..
My new tool box....
As I moved my tools from the small box I had,
I could not help but to wonder how I had so damned many tools in my small box....
"They must have been layered..."
As you can see, I have photos of my old tool box and have it posted for sale on the various sites that I am a member.
I feel that the price I'm asking is reasonable and I anticipate a quick sale.
Hope all have a wonderful weekend!
Best,
Scott
Say,
Y'all ever heard this?
Wasn't it covered by Frankie later?
Why, yes. Yes it was.
(True stereo. Listen closely....)
AND,
Jackson Brown?
Again, my Friends, YES!
A song, close to my heart, having played live on stage....
A 12 string Epiphone is within in my grasp.
After a hiatus of 25-30 years....
Perhaps another foray into a live stage performance is in my future....
Many original songs that I have written, yet to play...
Yeah, I have a whole notebook of original lyrics and melodies....
I'm just waitin' for the right guitar to sing my song....
Have I mentioned that I can play a piano?
And I've tuned one by ear for a Church?
OK.
I won't mention the pianos that I've restored.....
And the times that I sneaked in at the University of Kansas as a teen, to Murphy Hall, to teach myself chords and....
And, the statutes of limitations have expired for my locksmithing abilities to enter a building....
Ahem!
Well, anyway...
I sneaked away from home to practice in the sound proof rooms at Murphy Hall at KU as a teen.
I was found out by the director of a Production and was eventually a member of a Campus production of "Annie, Get Your Gun."
And you can say, "I knew him when he was just a forklift mechanic!"
Where there is music, there is life...
If music stirs not your soul, you have no soul.....
OV,
Make me drool, Brother....
