Well, I had family obligations this weekend but I managed to sneak away this afternoon. Did an hour in a new spot. It was completely overgrown as usual but the barn area was open...
I'm very curious about this flat button. It seems early and hand inscribed, but I've never see a straight bar where the shank is. It is brazed on and j have doubts to it serving as a pin. any thoughts?
One of the coppers is a KG3. The other is broken, and the face is corroded, but is probably the same as the other. One side can see Lady Britannia.
Anyway, enjoy and good hunts!
Steve
UPDATE: I found the other piece to that cracked half penny, about 15-20' away! That's a first
