CoinStar Surfing Log...

no offense. but if that isnt obsession i dont know what is ? you're making it way more work than you have too. do you really want or have to remember the day and the time and what you found ? you scored at the coinstar ? all i want to remember is the day i went to the coin counter and filled my pockets so much that i couldnt even keep my pants up walking out the door ! man now that was fun ! oh and i dont care what day it was or the day of the week or the year. i will rember it till i die. my luck ran out after that day ........................................................?

Actually, day of the week and time of the day may, in some instances, have a better chance of scoring coins in the reject tray. My best finds have been on weekends and holidays when the stores were so slammed that store employees had no time to check the coinstars themselves...So mine is 1 vote for reporting day, time, etc as it may be useful data.

No offense taken. Thanks for your comments Nomad. Unfortunately, I will continue to document all my Coinstar finds - why? Because I enjoy doing it. Later my friend!

Dang - just noticed you said: "...do you really want or have to remember the day and the time..." Never thought about adding the time - I will add the time for my next find(s). Thanks for the super suggestion Nomad!

There's only one Coinstar local to me. I swing by it each time I go for groceries.

It has been about 2 years now since I found anything.

But, I still check it. Thank you VP for the motivation to continue checking :)

Why is there always some kid at the party trying to spoil another kid's fun?

I'd have to go back to post #1 to add up how much money you've actually found. Certainly it adds up to some bucks now.

Money you didn't have before, and it is FREE money. Keep tallying :)
