Truck Brake Failure Incident

Dirtiest coal I ever Saw ! Very Poor Coal There !
000aaa.webp

I take it they Don't wash it there Before Weighing it

Rolling fast, 2 trucks' brakes failed on the descent until they overturned

This looks to be a "repackage and repeat" version of the video's you've posted in
the past. :dontknow:

Here in the US, the grades on the East coast are shorter, but often steeper than the miles long grades in the Western US. In all cases, a big truck driver can get into trouble in a hurry if they're not paying attention. Here, a driver can 'red flag" a rig, and then tell his company that the truck needs brake repair before it's driven again. IMO, unless there is some big mechanical failure, the responsibility for a truck losing it's brakes rests solely on the driver.

perhaps some of the second one is older stuff :dontknow:
I Didn't Re-Look Before Posting This Response

The Coal Truck Just Happened yesterday and the other one was supposedly the same day .

so maybe I'm Mistaken What You Mean By "repackage and repeat":dontknow:

as for the Breaks Thing I Know of One Local Road They Actually Put Up No Trucks Sign After Several Deadly Accidents .
However Last week I Passed One Coming Down Anyway

PA State Police set up Occasionaly near the Interstate & Inspect Trucks. Supposedly No One gets By witout a fine of some Type.
They Say The State Police Can Find a reason to fine a Brand New Truck Just off the Lot

That crashed rig at 4:05 looked like it had an old auto bumper jammed underneath it. ???
You Either Got a Better Memory then Me (Very Likely :laughing7:)
Or you saw it elsewhere. thanks :coffee2:

Jeff, It's in the latter part of the video. Seems they reuse the footage of the trucks going around that steep corner and up the hill. No worries here..lol

I've seen So many Videos Of that Corner :laughing7:
A Lot of Them Look Alike to me !
so I May have mentally Nuked the corner Traffic part !
thanks :coffee2:

This is Why there are So Many Accidents there .
Apparently there Are no driving laws, Not only no Limits on
Weight. Motorcyclists Apparently Own the Roads . But No patience by Anyone ! They Don't even Wait till someone Mucks a Path for Cars & Trucks, It's 'Gotta go Now !'

It's also Possible applying for a Police Job, only Requires Giving the Powers that Be your Coat size:laughing7:

Here Even Cyclists would Need to take an Alternative Route , Even if it's 50 mile out of the way.

The Worst News Today, Happened Before Our Eyes, Truck Overturned Incident
