CLUES TO THE LOST DUTCMAN MINE

The Waltz map which shows the mine and the caches is very hard to recognize in the fields . Was also hard for me until i have recognized the mine site from other maps and clues . If you know where is the LDM , then I will tell you where is the caches because I like your style .
The cache sites are two and are in these directions from the mine :
The first is 130 yards and 24*SE , and the second is 160 yards and 45*NE .

I do not want to trade notes. I am just trying to look for the caches so that I could have some retirement money, and not be greedy. There are other things that I have found that can make me very rich. If you can find the stone maps trail and search the canyons around it youcan find it. If i do find the caches i will try to post pictures andthen I will deny finding any thing and disapeer. If you think you know where it is do not tell anyone, there are peaple that would take it from you. The only way to find it is to get dirtyand hike.

I don't need notes, and I am not greedy too . At last is only a mine . There are many other valuable treasures to be found. Thanks for your advice . I think you are a honest man .
 

This forum (or any public forum) will probably never include a bundle of electrons that my video card can reassemble into the likeness of certain facts. But really, did anyone ever expect that?

Thank you for the compliment. The 2 caches are on the 2 separate trails. The larger cache is off to the side of the stone maps trail and the smaller one is off to the side on the 1st and 2nd waters trail. The larger one is the one across from the rock face, the smaller one is the one that the clues says it's to steep for horses. Like I said, my back gives me a limited time to look. The caches may only be a foot long and 6 inches wide, depending on what he used, bags or cans. I am sure the bags or cans are gone, but the gold is still in the dirt. Don't know if it's under or around a rock,or around a tree. I'm pretty sure that he didn't write his name any where. Takes me time to look.

What facts did you expect ? The coordinates of LDM with a full explanation and pictures of the vein ?
Everybody has his own theory about where the LDM is , but few are willing to share it here . I have read more theories from new posters than many " specialists " who are bragging itselfs how possess a lot of knowledge in treasure hunting and are full of advices .
I am not the best TH , but when I claim something this means how first I have made my investigation and the most times I give an explanation ( with pictures , maps , etc ) to " lock " my claim .

I will show you how I recognized the main cache in the Waltz map , using the Waltz map and some GE pictures .
First , the map has three maps included . The small squares from the left are for the caches , and the bigger is for all the general area ( about half mile ) around the mine .

Now , I croped the bigger map and I left only the centre which is the portion with the main cache , and after I made an overlay on GE in the region where I believe is the LDM . And the result is this :

The map is a hand drawing , also the overlay is 95% accurate . Only the circle is little out of his shape . But now let see closer what the circle shape represent .

Reminds you something ? Let go to the little square map which represent the main cache .

Here I turned the picture 90* to fit with the map . The overlay is about 97 % accurate . Only the four stones are little out of their shape .

I hope your graphic card can shows these pictures . Is in your judgement to decide if my theory is worth to be taken in consideration .

Everything that I have posted about the clues are true facts. I have walked the trails, I have drank from 1st and 2nd waters springs, and I have touched the items on my list. Here's something about Holmes map, and people will hate what I am saying. That is not 4 peaks, not miners needle, OMG not Weavers needle. The thing that is called 4 peaks, go back and read Jim Barks notes on where J.W. put the pan with the hole in it. Jim miss interprets the clue, it is 4 large rocks. The 1 called miners needle is a rock formation that looks like that. I walked up to it and picked up a rock and put it in the hole. A perfect fit, no more hole. The next fact, I will tell you what is right next to the mine. But not today. Go ahead be angry with me.
 

The horses head is standing next to the mine, one ear up and one ear back. Next to the head is another rock the same size as the head, together they make a straight line and point to the mine, which is about 5 feet away.

The Horses head is next too the gold mines I saw that at the site I've been working you are correct Nbodie!

The map that you are talking about, the one that you believe has the 2 caches on it. The Waltz map. Do you know the history of it? Who owned it, who gave it to who, were it came from?

That looks like a place mat at The Apache Junction Denny's HAHAHA Did it come with crayons, and a cheat sheet on the back, so kids can trace the trail to the mine? That map is about as accurate as.....as....... as something that's not very accurate! HAHAHA

Jokes aside, do you know that by the time of the Wilderness Act (1984) that every inch of Blacktop Mesa was under claim (mostly) by The Harnish Group of Miners/Prospectors/DHunters (according to Director Robert E. Lee). I don't think any piece of land in those mountains has been gone over as thoroughly as Blacktop. Your map puts the DLM on the SouthWest Corner of Blacktop (if that IS supposed to be Blacktop Mesa).

We were right. The MEC is for K-12.

It is funny, because they ignored so many of the other clues. You can't just use some and not others. Waltz didn't enter the mountains from the South (HINT) except when he went up to Pinto Canyon, where he may have found a sweet spot to dry wash.

See, we can do better, because we know the area. We know the mountains. We know the story. A half-a$$ed map drawn by some kids is just another one for Greg's Filing Cabinet.
