Cleaned Up after County Fair

County Fair was over Sunday night so decided tohunt the grounds on Monday early morning. They were just taking everything apart and no one cared that we hunted.First time I hunted like this and was really happy. Got all our finds before noon.
Can anyone identify the big ring. Its huge.

Wow,Wow,wow- what a haul. We have a local fair this weekend. Kids Love the rides so we'll go for a day. How and Who do you ask to get permission?? That looks like fun!!

I can tell if the Ring has Arabic or a type of Asian writing on it ..I believe It is arabic looking can you post bigger pics of the ring I can post it on another forum of International coin collectors I bet some one will be able to tell what it is. Or you can try your self here is the link http://www.coincommunity.com/forum/

On the top it says Mohammad in Arabic.

One side has Kaba (Mecca) and the other side has the mosque Medina depicted with other arabic script surrounding the buildings on both sides I believe.

What do you think the jewelry piece is with the beautiful opal in it?
That's pretty unique looking. Very cool!

Thank you for the information on the ring.
I dont know what the silver opal piece is. I cant seem to see where there was any attachment on the back ,but it resembles an older type lapel pin. It was in the part of the fairground that used to be used for horse racing..

Great bunch of finds. I really like finding those old lighters. Years ago I just threw them away

One time I found one that was engraved with the name and rank of a man who was assigned to a tank unit during WWII. I sold that one on ebay.
