Cleaned Up after County Fair

County Fair was over Sunday night so decided tohunt the grounds on Monday early morning. They were just taking everything apart and no one cared that we hunted.First time I hunted like this and was really happy. Got all our finds before noon.
Can anyone identify the big ring. Its huge.

Thanks Everyone. As much as I dont like hunting spots like this, this one was really fun and the girls werent bored once. It was nice that they kept finding alot of items. We finally gave up keeping the bolts and screws. Most if the stuff like tools were eyeballed ...most of the money just below surface. Under the rides gave up alot of coins . Lots of trash...I felt like that Templeton the rat that went to the fair on Charlottes Web..

Dekalb...I found the sheath that went to the knife also and it has a little boot clip on it. Cool Hey?

I was at one of the local fairs Saturday evening for the Truck/Tractor Pull. Everyone was sitting on a grassy hill. I kept thinking about what people were losing while sitting there. They won't let me look though.

Again, UNREAL!!!!

Excellent 5 hours Gypsy!!! A day now and then where you know you'll get mostly clad but LOTS of it with little real digging can sometimes be tons of fun - especially when you can do it as a group!!

I love that knife as well - very "rogueish"

I really don't know anything about the ring, but my first impression is that it's some kind of "lodge" or other such "fraternity" type ring. It almost has a middle eastern look to it.

You know all you have to do is PM PBK and he'll come up with the answer in minutes

Way to go on all that change though!

Wow Gypsy, that's just awesome!!! Great finds and fun there. That ring really looks Indian from India at a first glance, the letters might be Cryillic. HH and good luck with the second round, our fair also just ended, just watched the fireworks, I'll give it a walk through but it's mostly gravel and some paved ways. Might do well but I doubt it as I've detected it before. Mike

Oh My God! $38.08!!! Dam thats alot of $$!! You could buy about 30 mercs with that!!! And to think i just reached the $30 mark for the past 4 months! Crap! Sweet finds Gypsy! Sorry, i dont know what that ring is. You just gave me a great idea, there is a local fair twice a year in my town for around the past 10 years, its always been in the same spot and no one has detected it, im going there after vacation!!! Congrats again and WTG!!!

Nice haul girls. I once hit a house that gave up over 200 coins in one day. I couldn't
hardly walk for 3 days afterwards.

I love the knife, I use one just like that for pinpointing targets.

Wish our fair grounds was more dirt, than blacktop. I used to find lots
of silver there but now it's all under blacktop. Oh well, i'll just have to go back
to the old fair ground sites and hunt them again.
