Cleaned Up after County Fair

County Fair was over Sunday night so decided tohunt the grounds on Monday early morning. They were just taking everything apart and no one cared that we hunted.First time I hunted like this and was really happy. Got all our finds before noon.
Can anyone identify the big ring. Its huge.

wow gypsy, i guess you cleaned the place up, looks like you should take a second sweep though to see if you missed any. Was most of it ground finds or was some in the ground for years??

Most of it was right on top. When I first got there an old guy was sitting in a truck and he said"go over there under the trees,because thats where all the carny people parked their campers" Sure enough it was a hot spot. The ring I dug under a huge oak about 3 inches and alot of the silver I had to dig. My daughter Mariah scooped the silver pin with gem at about 2 inches near the old horse race field.
We are going back!

You know thats funny. I kept picking them up and picking them up. I found tons of bolts,trailer pins and screws.....all I kept thinking was ..."Holy Cripe 'I am glad I am not riding on rides at their next fair"

Sherm....I started about 7 am and finished at noon. My two daughters were with me and they hunted hard. So its a collective effort. They werent finished taking the beer tents down and a few rides but my daughters zeroed in on the rides that "flipped upside down" hahaha. help Most of the money was found near there. We are going back tonight....

Seeker.....That knife is great and I am using it. Is a boot knife and I really like it.

Now I need help on that ring!!!!
