Very nice finds. I live in Va as well Va Beach to be exact Where do live.

I have a buddy who owns almost five acres of what was the Siege of Suffolk battlefield. He is getting a new Fisher for christmas and wont let anyone on it until then....Bastard.....LOL Looking forward to swinging and digging those fields. Maybe I'll talk to him and let you know when we go. Prob not until spring though when the ground get a little softer.

Wow !!....what a response.....Thanks a lot everyone.

Sorry LoneWolf, never mentioned it is a Quarter.

Jake its brass and is a dust cover for padlock that reads W.W. Co....its a known CW lock....Thanks

As well as the rare bullet pic'd with the Quarter, the spoon turned out to be a good piece also....its a Soldiers folding camp spoon.

Thanks again Guys, and Good Luck in your Digs,
Dave

I thought that looked like one of those folding ones, great find, personal items are the rarest usually. Is that piece of lead to the left of the keyhole a piece of a belt plate or something?

Great Seated and the rest is awesome too...where in Va are you located? I am in the Halifax area...again, congratulations on your awesome finds.

Silver is in nice condition, congrats on that oldie! Neat relics as well! HH, Mike

Congrats Va Dave, really nice relics, great coin!

Great dime... Just think how a lost dime in 1861 would make ya feel.
That could be a " DAYS PAY " Now that would hurt...... Thanks
for posting..... HH BRINK
