Civil War Candle Holder & More!
I've been getting out lately with Rob, Dickie & Tony Civil War hunting. Here is a look at my last 3 trips.
I found a 69 cal. bullet, 3 58's and a funny size bullet that has what looks like lead stuck in the bottom. It almost looks like the wood you find in the botton of enfields. But it's lead. A cleaner with the zinc plate broke off maybe?
I also found some other lead, an 1860 IH penny, 3 little buckles, a j hook, a bent up bell looking thing, a pipe stem, an arrow head, a underwear button and a homemade button.
I also found a Eagle "I" button with just the shank missing and 1st Corp Sphere badge. I saw it listed in the Crouch's book on page 161!
And I found a Iron Candle holder that's listed on page 41!
