That was the text I sent to Cjon455 and NePa Will as I pulled out of my drive this morning and the rain started pretty hard. There had been a very light mist just 10 minutes before. Just my luck!

" Just found OD Nick and LC at one of those houses outside M___________ lol " read the text I sent them 2 hours and 38 minutes later!
Some may not know, but Carolina Tom and Tylerbdad have been teasing me ever since I made the mistake of telling them I had never found a silver war nick. They even carried on the task of renaming them " OD nickels " lol and begged everyone to only refer to them as that. Well, gentlemen, you can rest easy now...

Wait Stop the presses. In the OD Nickel Proclaimation Section 3 it states Should OD EVER FIND an OD Nickel it MUST be witnessed by 1 or more members of the OD Nickel Club. Should no witness be present for such an unlikely occurrence It NEVER HAPPENED.

Thanks DI2...this is an odd one. I am going to weigh and measure the diameter. I can usually make out the stars that border them, but can't even get one of those. Maybe it is something else

Will, I told Chris you were my good luck for finding that one. If I had not gotten permission, I was thinking bout coming down to the town you were working in and buying you lunch. When you texted me that houses made you drool at that location, I immediately thought of the house where I got these. I tried there once before this year and no one was home. The fellow rents there but when I asked, he immediately called the owner and secured permission for me. Did you get the pic of the house I sent you and was it one you had noticed?
