The triskelion

II. picture braid ornament silver
III. IV. Image of Celtic symbols on the strap sewn in place

I still don't believe this went on a belt, it has all the hallmarks of a strap junction & none of a leather mount.

Hey Ossi, is there any chance you can go back to locate any thing else? Maybe dig the area and sift the dirt. Hit it over and over again with different metal detectors and coils.
Maybe we can get more pieces and information about your discovery.
