I agree the buckle is really awsome . in fact 1 part is missing ?the plate that was originally fixed to the buckle . did'nt find it unfortunately ..
thanks "the hammer" ?i also found some great finds from the early 18th C and even 19th C . France has really a different history compared to the US ?BUT ?i'm sure there must be some great finds still waiting to be discovered in the US too .
sorry cannot post other pics right now ,haven't had time this weekend but i think in the coming days
Laurant,
I've found hammered coins and one bronze Roman coin, and I've never found anything out of the ground close to that clean. I'll post some of my pics this weekend, but those are lucky finds indead.
Those are some awesome coins, and some great pieces of history, WTG!!!
I'm like a lot of others also,, I really like that buckle,,, very nice...
Good luck, & Happy hunting~
in fact those coins are part of a treasure and that's why they're in exellent condition . the same for the celtic ones , they have all been found together and I've got a hundred of them . but the roman silvers are common though .that is not the case for the celtic ones which are extremely rare , some of them are unique
