 Wtg.I like that.HH.

Good stuff JB! I've been waiting for weeks for the corn to be cut down here so I can get into some good fields. Now the corn's been harvested and it's rainy, snowy and cold! I'm hoping for a window of opportunity soon.

Nice little 1800s site JB. Love that cartwheel. Never dug one of those. Guess I've never been near one as they'd be hard to miss.

Thats A Beautiful Half Cent! Nice Finds!

Why are there coins in corn fields?

Because Most Of The Fields Have Been Farmed Since The 1700S. The Farmers Would Lose Change,Buttons,Etc. While Working The Fields.

Those are some great old coins and buttons JB. :occasion14: Looks like a spot you would want to hit over and over.
Thanks for the great photos,
MM

More outstanding finds, great pics & post JB. I have never dug a half cent. How many have you dug? You are able to show the sites and that's cool. If we did that, the site would be poached before dark-LOL. WTG Bud, Q.

Some great finds there JB, that train button is awesome.
ZDD

Rockin that T2 SE as usual. Awsome finds. :icon_thumleft:

Wow! Wish we had that kinda stuff around here!

Nice digs Mr. Blaze! I love that Railroad button. The cartwheel is also one that I have never dug. On the left side of the plate in the first picture is half of a Rev War era military sling buckle.

With those finds you no doubt will want to keep searching those sites - congrats on the relics and coppers!

You always seem to clean up at those cellarholes! Great saves, I really like the railroad button!

This is only me second large cent Quindy..
They do not pop up often..
It is easier to show wooded sites with no landmarks or raods to identify them with..
