Got out to a new Cellar :icon_thumright:
Man i must have hiked like 10 miles and lost 5 pounds..It felt good as i have to get in shape for when the SHTF..
On the way back i found another Cellar i didnt hunt at all as i had to get home..You bet your a$$ i will be back there soon..

Grabbed a sweet Colonial decor button:headbang:

Smoked like Cheech and chong Largie..

Early 1910 dog tag..Makes me wonder i was miles away from Putnam in Sterling CT..Wonder if he got lost:icon_scratch:

The usual button relics.

A strange relic with small holes and flared edge.Anybody..

It was gorgeous out there today and i really enjoyed myself and got in shape for sure..

Have fun out there:hello:

Nice finds bud. My phone tells me how far I walk and it was 18 miles a couple of weekends ago. You'd be surprised how many miles we put on hiking through the forest

That is awesome... what a find... well worth the hike.. beautiful country.

Great hunt man:thumbsup:

that's a Morel, appearantly they are worth roughly 50-75 a lb!

great finds by the way!!! looks like a nice relaxing day!

Oh man and i just threw it back on the ground and walked away...I thought it was poisonous..:laughing7:

A great hunt & exercise as well.

Nice mushroom! And now you know for the next one you come across, it'll go into the pan. Great looking cellar sites as they're not overgrown with underbrush. Nice finds and for the return trip the best of luck.

Good finds, GREAT PICS ! as always
Love the morel, I've never found many of those, and quite valueable Too!.
Cool.

SWEET finds! That was quite a hike! But worth every step when exploring--and finding great stuff. I bet there's more there, and can't wait to see what you dig from the other cellar hole!

Cheers,

Buck

Those pics of the foundations are something else. Y'all are lucky as hell up north. Down south, at least in my area, it's as if everywhere has been clearcut, raked and replanted, and with it all evidence of early sites is destroyed. Great finds, man.

Hi J.B. nice seeing you post again ! Looks like great country for a:walk:and :metaldetector: :treasurechest: What is the item next to the dog-tag ?

Oh I got some morels this spring, good eats !

I love my Cellar Holes and the stone walls are like Ancient maps leading to the treasure..But thinking on what you said all your sites are hidden and you can actually use that to your advantage..I automatically assume all sites around this way have been hit butwhen they are hidden that can be a good thing:icon_thumleft:
Let me know if you need some map sites to overlay the old maps over the new google maps..
