I found a crudely carved and cast ring but not sure of the metallurgy, ID's just a tad below nickel on my CTX.
It's approximately a size 4, weighs 50 grains which is 10 gains heavier than my wifes size 5 wedding set though this ring has more bulk too.
The maker didn't grind/smooth the wax spur location and the inside is not smoothed either. I'm guessing it was done as part of a school class or similar.
It has a gold tone in areas but also some grays. Definitely not plated.
