marty do not take less than 50 bucks a converter.. if you do you are getting ripped. some may even be worth a few hundred each depending on what kind they are.
I bought a pile of 17 batterys, (some large), for .50 cents each , & sold them for $101.00, a profit of $92.50.
If you gather as many as 50, the buyer will come to you, & pick them up.
Since my Honey Hole of scrap metal and parts and pieces is in question, here is my idea.
Car dealers have a pile of stuff out back from the service and body shop that they pay someone to haul off. Why not work a deal where you haul the stuff off for free.
My nephew works at a car dealer as a porter and says that they pay someone $200 a month to haul the stuff off. He says that there could be as many as 20 batteries at a time just sitting there. Plus there is the steel body panels from wrecked cars. Hmmmmmm
Lets see multiple batteries, several car dealers, I'm starting to smell money.
