You seem to believe you have to go some place other then where you are to enjoy something. Isn't that possible where you are? Then again your location is, "Waste Lands of the Abyss." If that's the case, I recomend you go and board the first Greyhound bus you see to wherever its going.

Most of Fla is over crowded not a place to get away from it all .

The Keys are great to live in with reliable A/C and not wanting to go out where there is no mosquito netting. Other than that, remember when the Spaniards wrecked different places along the Florida Coast and they went mad due to mosquitos? Nothing has changed.

Living off the grid there. That's a laugh. Try a mid Atlantic state, or the northern most part of the "south". Less animals to kill you, very few bushes or trees that will, a lot less danger from a hurricane, little chance of very long term drought, lots of rural areas left to live in, moderate summers and winters with about 2 weeks each of awful only. Good soils most places to grow food.
