Monty, you were a handsome looking young boy, still handsome to this day. No wonder Kay lassoed you. ;D

 RR

Old memories can be great...silver ring, cool!

Awww! Handsome even in 1953.

"Beaver" was William (last name withheld to protect the guilty). He was the class dork and I think he dropped out in about 10th grade? I wasn't complaining about the picture, just joking as usual and I do appreciate your fixing the picture some. The fold just happened to be right across my face. I would love to see some of the other Tnetters youthful pics. Some people look just like they always did and some you wouldn't even recognize! Monty

Well, you asked for it. See if you can pick me out of this pack of Cubs. The photo was taken exactly 53 years ago today.

It's all good Mr. Monty :)... I am going for my business license on Friday to start my home business of photo restorations. When I saw your photo...I was like, YEAH BABY!!! I took that as a great challenge. I love doing this type of stuff and gives me so much pleasure to fix up old photos...however, there's always that one that comes along that proves to be a challenge and yours certainly was. I have started a new remake, seeing where I need to work on more...so right now....I am concentrating on the faces that I did not like...there were four of them that came out like crap!!! And I'm sorry one of them was yours! :(...so THANK YOU for giving me a challenge to conquer and I will!!! The first one I did took nearly 6 years STRAIGHT just cleaning up what I did....so, your photo is great practice for me to tackle the difficult photos. And a friend of mine, whom I did some photos for her, she went to Sears yesterday and took one of their flyers for photo restorations....just your pic alone would have cost $99.99, not more ... for them to do it! Dang, I can make some bucks LOL! But Thank You for the opportunity to hone up on my skills and teaching me more about patience!!! I'll have a better one soon!

I changed my pic...wanted to make it harder for you to find me! LOL...Bootcamp 1974!

Thank you kindly, ma'am... but I'm reliably informed that I got over it!

As I said in my first post, the photo was taken exactly 53 years ago today— February 10, 1956.

Monty, That's a good pic of you and your classmates. It's nice that you have kept in touch. That would mean alot that you are all adults and a lot of water under the bridge. I have one of me when I was in the 4th grade in a oneroom school.
It's in one of the files and I think i'll find it and shrink it down to post. It is an 8x10 photo so I'm sure it will need resizing. Thanks for sharing.

Annmarie, that must be pretty tricky touching up the pics you are doing a good job of it. Lots of luck in your new
business of working with photos. I'm sure you will do wonderful, though.
That is an attractive bunch of ladies in your pic.

PBK Nice pic of your Scout group. Thanks for sharing It's really nice to see pics of when we were kids. Brings back
some nice memories.

You all have a good day

Ray

We were indeed— and den some! :D (They didn't have the four of us in front just because we were taller, either.)

Not only that, but the seated guy was the chief of police... the one standing on the left was the mayor... and the photographer was the den mother's hubby.

Not enough to subdue us by half, but believe me, they knew us well!

Why you country bumpkin! My school had 3 rooms with a sliding divider that divided the classroom into two grades! We were urbanites! :D Monty
