can someone guess a value on there for me

I'm sticking with my opinion of buffed coins
due to the lack of clarity in the hair lines.
Just my opinion

Franklins were known for their "weak" striking at the mint..
That's why finely detailed specimens are worth more than face value.
Read the Redbook..............

How do you "buff" a coin like that ??? ??? ???

I think the picture has a lot to do with the perception of being cleaned or not. Taken under different light, at a different angle, might change a persons mind.

The money is in the finer details of the coin, not the shine.

Any dealer will know what to look for.

All that glitters is not gold.

Goes, congrats on the Franklins! I don't want to burst any bubbles here, but don't believe all of these high estimates here. I don't know how in the world someone can tell you those coins are "MS-65". That is ludicrous.. They are nice coins, and you could probably sell them for between melt value and $10... Good luck to you!! (and keep trading stamps for silver ;D) Gpurs....

LMAO~!!! Yes, that's right, don't listen to anybody who says they are high grade... think more like melt value. If melt value is 6 something I will be a real hero today and offer you 7 for each!! ;D
