Yes we certainly realized that, green808, but I could find nothing definitive as the internet often repeats the same mistake....An Etsy sale or metal detector forum is NOT proof (esp since the Padlock Collector doesnt say it). I was searching for proof; such as an original box or an original sale ad.The slaymaker logo is a capital S with an arrow going through it. My lock has the same logo. Also when you search slaymaker locks the same one comes up

I didnt find the proof I was looking for but I found a padlock with a very similar logo with the words SLAYMAKER embossed underneath. I guess you missed that.
Try to keep up here. I took the search a step further after noticing the shackle closely resembles a Fraim. I found that Fraim Slaymaker merged in 1925. I found a riveted padlkock similar to yours with the Slaymaker Fraim logo. My deduction is a post Fraim merger Slaymaker. Am I repeating myself? What you think?
Yea Im thinking post merger. But its just a guess. I have been searching but Im unable to find the dateline. Besides the keyhole it does kinda resemble the Fraim Slaymaker and the shackle shape resembles those used on old Fraims.
Here is an old Fraim.
