Whatever ever happened to that million man gun rally on Feb 8th? I was working so I don't get to see the news and I'm curious as to how many actually showed up TV and radio had no mention of it at all.

I'm pretty sure one of the members here must have been there as this was an important issue for them.

Er, nope. I just respond to a few of them, very few to be exact. If I see something I believe interesting, then I'm on it. What ever makes you think I'm anti gun anyway, I've never stated that Besides, I do have guns too

I guess every black man that didn't attend the so-called "Million Man March" could care less about their agendas also, right? I guess all blacks that didn't march with M L King on Washington could care less about their civil rights? You may have guns but, if you think that they can just take them away from you because they may be capable of firing more than one round or they "look" scary, you might as well turn them in now and, while you're at it, ask what religion they want you to be. Since all the folks around here are talking about civil war, armed resistance, etc than why wouldn't there be an expectation that someone would take a simple drive down to DC?? Or is it all just bluster and tough talk on the chat boards.

There is also the possibility that I do support the amendment, but I'm not an extremist by far. Like Stockpicker mentioned, there are many strong supporters within a stones throw of DC, and I'll wager very few, if any, will go. Seeing that Jeff was kind enough t provide the date Saturday, May 25th, I would see no reason for those with the loudest voices here, share their enthusiasm in DC. Working that day? I'm sure they will have a vacation day to use, if it's that important.

Nope, they'll be too busy with daily life and let others fight their battles and make excuses.

Well, I live in California. Can I be excused from attending and just pay my NRA dues and let them fight for me? You say you have guns, who gave you permission to own them? How easily will you turn them in if asked? You know, the Supreme Court knows best how to keep you safe so being first in line with your guns will prove your support for their wisdom.
