Buckleboy's January/February Wrap-Up!--UPDATED!!

FOXHOUND'S PHOTOS ADDED BELOW IN THIS POST, AND SPILLING OVER INTO REPLY #17.

Hello All,

The Iron Brigade has been busy these first two months of 2008! The weather has NOT been cooperative, and we've lost several weeks due to frozen ground, ice storms, and snow. So unlike December--which was relatively mild here--it took me two months to fill my display case with goodies. Just when we thought that the diggin' couldn't get any better after all the Seated coins, Large Cents, and old relics in the weeks preceding Christmas--2008 has filled the cases with Reales and mid-1800's Militaria. I'll let the photos speak for themselves.

Awesome display. Congrats on the belt plate. What is the round item with the person on it? (No, not the coins )
Because of you, I started saving the old pottery shards for my displays too.

Outstanding finds as always. Can you tell me something about the 2 bigger buttons in pic #3...they're really neat, I don't recall ever seeing any like those. The display really looks nice.
