Updated cleaned up pics!!!

I'm stunned.
The street tear outs are still producing, a few wheats here, clad dimes there...the occasional silver keeps me going...then today happened.
The AT Pro sounded off a choppy 90-91-92 ..... Wierd. It wasn't clear or consistent, but I was intrigued. The target seemed big, so the dig began.....not expecting to see a clod of dirt, perfectly flat on one side, and round....and, big? I'd seen this before, when a coin is broken from its grave, there is that pretty flat dirt to the side of the coin...but not like this.
I reached into the hole, and I felt a big, round...???
OMG...did I just find big silver? I didn't try to ID it, as I was thinking this might be my best find ever...
I stood up, scanned the hole, and the signal was still there!
Slowly I fished out, another one?!?
Another, and another!!! I was like, this can't be happening. 5 minutes later my wife calls and says dinners ready....really?
In lieu of in situ pics, I did the best I could, still not sure what I found... image.jpeg
So the clean up was pretty intense, I dropped Holy bombs in shear joy and excitement as I saw what the beauties were....
1923 and 1925 Peace Dollars!!!
1921 and, the Belle of the ball...1889-0 Morgan's!!!

Now, I gotta read up how to best clean them, if I even decide to.

Thanks for looking!:hello:

If I had to guess I would say that was probably the best treasure of the day.....

I lost my Dad back in 2001 and still miss him every day. I WISH I had been into hunting treasure back then. I think he would have really enjoyed coming along. He probably could have turned me onto some good spots too. Oh well; maybe in my next life.

Yea Bob, it was...he introduced me to coin collecting as a kid. He was pretty proud of me.
Wish we could all share our finds with the ones we miss the most.

Looks like it was a hunt enjoyed by a lot of people. Gives one hope congratulations Dave!

Congrats on making banner!

It is truly amazing the things dirt is hiding, the secrets it holds, and the places it's been!
We come along and think we have figured it out, lol! Far from it, there is a lot of truth behind the phrase "older than dirt", maybe we should add..."and it's secrets"

how sweet is that,Four big beauties!.What a rush that must have been.Hope one day I can experience it.Congratulations Dave

Before I logged on, 4 big silvers caught my eye on the banner.... Wow! Thank You!!!
This is my proudest moment as a member of TreasureNet, it is the highlight of my metal detecting hobby.

I would be remiss if I didn't thank Tnet members Great North, JCache, GaRebel, Metal Illness, and especially my friend, LocoDigger, for their Banner votes. Sarge, you have always been generous with your enthusiastic support of not only my finds, but so many others as well. A nice thank you to others who liked and nominated me for Banner, and kept their votes on the down-low. Finally, thank you to the moderators who recognized my once-in-a-lifetime find, as Banner worthy.

Again, I am so happy and thrilled to be in the "Banner Club" ...I am now looking for new members, so get hunting!

Man that was one amazing dig to find 4 silver dollars in one hole, I've never seen that done before! :notworthy:

Bet you wish you could've kept hunting and let your dinner get cold! :laughing7:

Congratulations on making your first BANNER too,
Dave
