Updated cleaned up pics!!!

I'm stunned.
The street tear outs are still producing, a few wheats here, clad dimes there...the occasional silver keeps me going...then today happened.
The AT Pro sounded off a choppy 90-91-92 ..... Wierd. It wasn't clear or consistent, but I was intrigued. The target seemed big, so the dig began.....not expecting to see a clod of dirt, perfectly flat on one side, and round....and, big? I'd seen this before, when a coin is broken from its grave, there is that pretty flat dirt to the side of the coin...but not like this.
I reached into the hole, and I felt a big, round...???
OMG...did I just find big silver? I didn't try to ID it, as I was thinking this might be my best find ever...
I stood up, scanned the hole, and the signal was still there!
Slowly I fished out, another one?!?
Another, and another!!! I was like, this can't be happening. 5 minutes later my wife calls and says dinners ready....really?
In lieu of in situ pics, I did the best I could, still not sure what I found... image.jpeg
So the clean up was pretty intense, I dropped Holy bombs in shear joy and excitement as I saw what the beauties were....
1923 and 1925 Peace Dollars!!!
1921 and, the Belle of the ball...1889-0 Morgan's!!!

I had never found a dollar coin...today I found 4! Crazy! Oh, and also my oldest silver!(with a date).....
Now, I gotta read up how to best clean them, if I even decide to.

Thanks for looking!:hello:

Holy smokes!! I figured I accept the fact that I will never find a silver dollar but maybe they are still out there. In clumps of four

I cant imagine a situation in which four of these would be dropped. Must be a cache

Holy jeebus, that's incredible! What a rush that must have been, congratulations!

Ok, that's just too awesome...I'm voting banner

WOW! Congrats, now go buy a Powerball ticket!

So nice! Wow!

I now accept any "pocket spill" as an "official" exit find for the day because of the feeling you're having at finding these!
Any pocket spill is exciting but, 4 silver dollars? In one hole? A lifetime special event!

Funny though, we keep going back out there simply because of the thought of finding something really special. But, when it happens, we always react the same way. This just CANNOT be happening!! LOL

Congrats!

The one thing I want to know is how are you sitting at the computer and not going over and over and over that tear out...I don't think I would be able to sleep tonight. Congratulations on such a great find and I hope you can catch a couple of hours of shuteye before the sun comes up. WOW

Congratulations on your multi bucket list finds!!!

Dave, that's an Awesome recovery! Four Cartwheels in one hole, that is unbelievable! Congratulations are in order.

Awesome digs Dave, congratz!!

Be sure to clean out your F-Bomb filter before your next outing. We'd all hate to see you laying in the tearout, clutching big, old silver, smiling like a happy hunter, but choking from back pressure on a clogged filter!!

Holy Moly! Nice check off the bucket list. Looks like you tried to fill the bucket.

Dave I'd do the boiling water, aluminum foil and baking soda method. My peace dollar that was in a fire cleaned up after one cleaning. Post the clean pics and I will vote banner. Dude you are on fire.

Congratz! I'm very excited and happy for you!

Congrats on the find Dave. WOW and WOW! I am silver coin guy, so this really blows me away. Whoa...

If Deteknix had sent your machine on time, you might have found those with it, that would have been a quite the feather in their cap...

Way to go BWD. I would have told my wife that I'll be home for dinner tomorrow !!
