I'm afraid that all the free stuff people get and all the indoctrination in govt schools will override the inherent integrity of our system.

There is a "Day of Resistance" rally going on at the OR state capitol in Salem today at 10:00am. It will be in the park across from the capitol building due to
building maintenance/washing.
Bring your friends, be sure to visit the gun and knife show at the fairgrounds, too.

Exactly right KarenD, The "free" giveaways are nothing more than vote buying. The liberals have a strong dislike for this country as founded and are now attacking the second amendment to further their agenda. Their insane view of the world and "equality" will result in a downgrade of Americans lifestyles, wealth and personal property/ rights if allowed to go unchecked. I encourage all Americans to join the NRA. We need all the support we can get otherwise the country is gone.....

"Oregon is the latest state to draft legislation that puts major restrictions on the 2nd Amendment. House Bill 3200’s summary states the “crime of unlawful possession or transfer of assault weapon or large capacity magazine” is punishable “by maximum penalty of 10 years’ imprisonment, $250,000 fine, or both.”

The NRA’s David Keene responded to the decision with the organization’s standard middle-of-the-road defense of the Second Amendment and the Bill of Rights.

“One of the things that people in these town meetings and other folks ought to look at is the constitution itself. It is possible and it is legal to put certain restrictions on second amendment rights,” he said, “but those kinds of restrictions have to be looked at very critically.”

It would be nice, but most people don't remember. That's why the behaviors and words of incumbents take a different tone in the few months before elections. Think about the "free" Obama phones; how long was it before the election that those were handed out?

Out of thirty-six Oregon counties, roughly four vote Democrat. Those counties have the greatest populations and decide the politics for the entire state, which is mostly ranch and farm land, and for our purposes mineral and timber land. (No offense to old-timer Democrats, just the new communist, environmentalist Democrats)

The old democrats have had their party abandon them......sadly a lot of them do not realize it otherwise they would change their affiliation.
