Hello All. I found (3) of these bottles a couple of days ago at a house built in the 1920's. It has what I guess is the date, "1938", engraved on the bottom so I figured someone might know what this bottle was used for.

I'm not sure but I think that it is a ketchup bottle.

That's my first thought, screw lid catsup bottle. For any of you young whipper snappers out there, catsup is the way it used to be spelled. Now days it's ketchup on the label.
