Bigger coil, more energy?

You might be able to measure it in a lab, not sure, but, I don't notice any difference in battery drain between coil sizes.

Not in the case of almost all machines. TX output is the same, the field of a larger coil simply becomes more “diluted”.

Like villagenut said! I think in some cases they do drain the batteries faster.

Let me clarify. If the coil is wired to the box, YES, it can drain faster.

On my Deus, since the coil has a separate battery and is truly wireless, NO, it does not drain as fast, because the batteries are in the coil and charge separately.

Yes. More energy . . . loss.

More wire means more line-loss from resistance. That's physics.
