Best Digging Tool Ever!!!!

I have had my Lesche for around 6 years and no sign of stopping. I even bought an extra at the same time I got the other as a backup and it's still in the box. The only thing with the one I use is after all the years and heavy digging it's 1 1/2 inch shorter now. :icon_thumleft:

LESCHE ALL THE WAYYYYYYYYY!!!!

I use the Treasure Wise stainless T12 and T14 for 20 years and still going strong, they have a meausre eched on the back T12 to 6" T14 to 12" never bent one thay are built very well sold them too.

I bought the tool listed above from lowes. I'm very happy with it. If another tool is better it isn't by much. I dig into every thing from compacted gravel (old train yards) to rock and coal filled areas ( old coal company towns) to the usual out in the woods stuff. I recommend the true temper tool for everyone.

I just picked two up for $18.00 if one breaks I got a back up , the lesche Is almost 50 bucks! the blade looks sharper as well on the lowes digger might Jerry rig it with something to block my hand from slipping. I think there is no difference than maybe durability but I'm only using this in fields with sod, I wouldn't want to use it for the woods, I use big boy tools for the woods lol

How narrow is it? Looks like about 1.5"

I'd say closer to 2 - 2 1/2 I used it and it was great it cut through the grass nicely and didn't bend when I put pressure on it its not as good as the expensive ones I'm guessing but a great alternative.

I have a lesche but having seen the Ames Jackson I don't know if I would buy it again. To be honest the Ames feels much stronger it is stainless it is one piece so I don think it will ever bend or break. It is not cheap as the Ames true temper but not as expensive as the lesche. For hard soil I have a replica of the predator tools piraña. It is just amazing

Where did you get your Lesche from I am new to digging so I am just now putting a tool pack together

Well I bought my lesche from metaldetector.com but you can get them all over, prices are very similar, even amazon sells them.

Lesche all the way! As a relic hunter I tend to be hard on tools. I purchased a T-handle ground shark about 10yrs ago and it has chopped through roots, rocks and some of the hardest Georgia red clay I have ever seen! These things last forever! I also have the lesche trowel, 38D ground shark and a Sampson. Want leave home without it. My wife uses the 38D around the yard and loves it.

I bought this at the local hardware store for digging and it is amazing!

I have a Wilcox (and have had it for a number of years) and it is awesome. Came across a Black and Decker similar in appearance to the one from Lowes, and for the money appears to be a pretty good digger. Don't think it can stand the prying that the Wilcox can though. It Does have the advantage of the serrated side for cutting that the Wilcox doesn't. Just my two cents worth.

This is the best digger I've ever had. I've pried as hard as I could on rocks, roots, iron, and such and have never came close to bending or breaking it.Digger 002.JPG

Dropped by Lowes today after lunch and bought the tool you showed. It is TRUE TEMPER brand, lifetime guarantee, stainless steel, heavy, rugged, well made and only $5.98 here in San Antonio. Really impressive instrument. Thanks again...

Couple months back I got the craftsman version. It was on clearance for $5.
