Heading over to the Bahamas after the we get the SearchStar up to the par. Going through the motors and everything else that could break. She has been sitting for 15 years. Got the subs coming over from the UK and getting ready to head over to Nassau.

Wonder if there is anything I should look for along the way. Got a few months to play around.

SearchStar is in Key Largo and back in the water in about 30 days.

Going to Nassau for tourism. Creating a new adventure for tourist. Sub tours and shark encounters.
Drive your own semi-sub

It looks like a great load of fun.

I can't imagine the cost of a new one (website won't say) and the insurance to operate that commercially in the States would be astronomical.

It looks a lot better designed than the submarine I ordered from the back of a comic book when I was a kid.

Best of luck in your adventure.

That looks like a great sub!! Hope the Government doesn't hassle you with any salvaging questions. I have been going to Eleuthera for 42 years. I also know alot of cool spots to drive that sub. . .if you know what I mean.
