Back to the Beach...Another Rev War Button!

I got back to the beach today looking for more of my mortar project. No iron but I did find another handful of lead! I also found this old pewter button which may be military...anyone see anything on this? Salt water keeps pewter from breaking down but it also bubbles it. I think I see something but would be interested in other thoughts.

The Geo.II came from the field just above the beach...

Yeah, the problem with this button is the condition (stating the obvious)...but it is more clear in the hand. It's a 57.
