I THINK I'AM GOING TO PUT A TENT AT THIS SITE AND NEVER LEAVE.STARTED OUT YESTERDAY AFTERNOON AND FINISHED UP TONIGHT.PUT ABOUT 6 HOURS TOTAL IN.I WAS OUT IN THE FIELD THAT SURROUNDS THE HOUSE THIS TIME.COUPLE NICE OLD BUCKLES WERE FOUND, ONE WITH A MAKERS NAME ON IT.THE SILVER BRACLET WAS A NICE SURPRISE.THE COINS WHERE A NICE ASSORTMENT WITH THE NJ COPPER BEING THE FIRST ONE FOUND,DIDN'T KNOW WHAT IT WAS UNTIL I CLEANED IT UP AT HOME.ALWAYS NICE FINDING OLD SILVER,MAN THAT SURE IS A SMALL COIN!1742 REALES,AND THE OTHER BEING ANOTHER GEORGIVIS III REX.ALSO FOUND SOME DECENT BUTTONS,THE WALLIS NO.2 LOOKS TO BE A EARLY NAVEL BUTTON AND A DECENT WAR OF 1812 ARTILLERY 2 BUTTON,ALOT OF MILITARY BUTTONS BEING FOUND AT THIS SITE.REMEMBER THE LARGE LEAD DISC THAT HAD THE CP ON IT,WELL THIS TIME I FOUND THE LITTLE BROTHER TO IT ALONG WITH A BALE SEAL WITH WRITING ON IT.THE SHOE BUCKLE LOOKS TO BE SILVER.NOW THAT I'VE COVER MOST OF THIS SITE NOW I WILL GO BACK VERY SLOWLY OVER IT.HOPE YOU ENJOY THE PICS !SORRY FOR THE CAPS

Another great post! You mention the maker of the buckle. Do you think it may say PHILAD, short for Philadelphia? Maybe the P is worn.

Phantastic Phinds!

Congrats!

Yep, I would be setting up shop at that site too. I'm sure there is pleny more there waiting for you !!!

Great hunt... The reale is soooooo sweet !!!

my guess is that the buckle is stamped short for Philadelphia.anyone know the date on the wallis navel button?this has been the best area for me ever because of the variety and quality of items I've found there.

I surely would be pitching my tent!!!
