Bit late with todays results because Himself found this little coin today and weve been in shock😂its a Celtic coin of the The Corieltauvi. South Ferriby Type dating from circa 10-20 AD Obverse: Stylised horse

In other news… i found a hammered… some bits of crotal bell, a tiny pretty button, a pendant, buttons and a little brooch (?) 2 pot mends a couple of other bits that i havent id yet …

Absolutely mind blowing to have found a coin that pre dates the Roman occupation…. And while he found it… i take credit for choosing the field!!! 😂😂 xx

One reason I love seeing the history you two uncover is my ancestry. If my research is correct most of my English ancestors are from this area, and Northumbria especially. But certainly not that far back, LOL. Although some of my O'Sullivan line claims to trace back to Noah. After some interesting finds I did a DNA test which confirmed things somewhat.

Ah that’s lovely… and of course if ur ancestors left any records as to where they stashed their savings… we would be delighted to go detect for you 😆 xx

Outstandingly clear pictures of those wonderful coins and relics! Your photos are always a real pleasure to view. And the age and diversity of finds puts you and your partner in a class many of us will never attain. Please keep sharing so we can at least have the vicarious pleasure!
