Are LRLs More Than Just Dowsing?

We've already been all through your "double-blind" whining, and you lost, remember?
Not my problem..I posted the definitions’ about 4 times and you refused to except them
I asked you how many people you would like to be tested, and you refused to answer.
I said 30 or more which you would not except
I asked you what you would consider a fair test, and you refused to answer.
I said a real double blind test and you will not except that.

You just don't want your fantastic claims to be subjected to testing, because your claims are false. There is no other reason. Now you will resort to insults.
Your claims that mine are fantastic and Extraordinary are what is false..

artie---

You've said that before, whenever i've asked you the same question.

But you never have said how the test would be carried out.

I mean, all 30 people at once, or one at a time, or what?

A double-blind test is a control group test where neither the evaluator nor the subject knows which items are controls. A randomized test is one that randomly assigns items to the control and the experimental groups.
The purpose of controls, double-blind, and randomized testing is to reduce error, self-deception and bias. An example should clarify the necessity of these safeguards.

Would that not be up to the people who are paying for and organizing the test ? Makes no difference to me because I would not qualify for the test…I am a Dowser and a LRL user and would have to disqualify myself..Art

Then there is nothing stopping 30 people from taking Carl's test.

Why in the world would you be disqualified? It's the LRL that's being tested, not you. I don't get your reasoning on that one.

More of your #19.

You have proven yourself out so many times, by adhearing to the Predictable Pattern list, that you are aligning perfectly with #24. The pattern is there. And you did it. And you continue to do it. Who's fault is that?

:laughing7: :laughing7: :laughing7: :laughing7: :laughing7:

P.S. When will you man-up and take Carl's test?

It is not nonsense to arts nonsensical mind

You may be giving art more credit than he deserves

It's evident art is having an alzheimer moment

Maybe the meds will bring him out of it but the
episodes are definite increasing in frequency

prong---

I was afraid of that, too.

But recently I've been strongly leaning toward pay-o-la from the LRL makers.

I mean, why would someone put so much nonsense on these threads, and then just go on promoting and promoting these things?

There has got to be some very strong motivation. I think he has gone way beyond just a "hobby interest"!

And it would be logical, too, because the LRL makers can't directly state that their devices actually find anything, or they could be sued, because they don't find anything. So the only way they can get direct claims like that, "legally," would be to have some fake "user" make the claims. Day in, and day out.

Who would fit that description?

Hmmmmmmm...I wonder! :laughing7:

(I just calls 'em as I sees 'em.)

:dontknow:

Nah, these old guys cling to this stuff because it's like a religion to them. They love believing in the fantasy. (would you hire Art as a spokesman ? :D)
Same as the 'treasure sign' guys who think every rock in the Southwest hides tons of Spanish gold, or every group with a three intial name, has secretly hidden tons of wealth around the country - if only they could break the code.
They live for the tall tale.

That's why the extreme sensitivity & massive defensiveness, when you question a belief.

RDT---

I wouldn't put everyone on TN in the same category as a couple obvious others.

I would like to see a debate between BB and artie, though. :laughing7:

And why not include me in your greeting, above? Maybe I've been too generous with my coffee!

True EE. down here they cover them with sugar then proceed to heat the mixture until the sugar caramelizes, which just happens to be the correct temp for the beans, cool it, then grind it. Blackern swr's soon to be salvaged soul, but good.

That's a new one for me, I'll have to try it.

I kinda figured they did their own roasting there. It wasn't very long ago that everyone did, which surprised me when I read about it. I had never known anything but buying ground coffee at the grocery, until I got interested in getting better coffee.

artie---

I thought you would use this topic to provide us with your opinion of whether or not LRLs are just dowsing devices, or acutally something more?

So I'm not sure if you just didn't think of it, or didn't see the topic, or are simply avoiding this question?

I guess I'll have to assume that you refuse to answer, huh?

Don't be a doof---show the proof!
