Aquanuts Friends

Re: Aquanut's Friends

:notworthy: Ahoy John, er Pegleg, How did the surgery go? One leg? Two? Three? Hope you feel better real soon. We're just trying to cheer ya up a bit. With friends like us you don't need Don Rickles. Not to be confused with Don Jose'. He's one of the good guys. still, everyone can stoop to a cheap shot once in a while. Just think what you would save on shoes. 1/2 price for one. Find someone with one of the other foots and go in together. Foots? Where in the hell did that come from? :laughing9: :laughing9:

Re: Aquanut's Friends

Well Guys, the surgery went well. The doctor is pretty pleased with himself. Recovery is painful and wears me out quickly, but I understand that all should turn out well after I finish Physical Therapy Rehab.

I echo mariner's sentiments. I'm thrilled to hear the good report, John. Rest well and get ready to get back at it again.

Re: Aquanut's Friends

:hello2: :hello2: Great John, now, pay attention to the therapist. Don't try to be a manly man and power through the pain. You can damage the knee. Listen to them and get back to water sports as soon as you can. Oh yeah, the doctor is always pleased with himself :laughing9: but how do you feel about it? After all, you are the one doing the pain. :read2: sit back, read a book on Treasure locations and enjoy your recoperation time.

John:

Wishing you a speedy recovery and painless (as much as possible) therapy!

Whitefeather, I just got awful news! They're going to put me on Coumadin after the surgery, a strong blood thinner that is derived from rat poison. So it looks like no Capt'n & Cokes on deck for a while!

I've been on coumedin for the last 12 years, since I was 32, for a mechanical heart valve implant. No probelms with Capt'n & Cokes here. The key is to remain consistent with your intake. 1 - 3 a day seems to work well for me. Eventually I will figure out how many shots equals 5 mg's of the rat poisen and I can deep six the little pills all together.
